Hailing from East Flatbush, Brooklyn, DJ BluFiya's love for music was nurtured by his family with roots in Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada. Surrounded by the diverse sounds of the city and inspired by his Caribbean heritage, he developed a passion for mixing music from an early age.

 

With a humble demeanor, BluFiya lets the music speak for itself, crafting transformative mixes that leave a lasting impact on his captivated audience. His skillful and diverse sets have earned him performances at renowned events such as Soca Overdose, I Love Amapiano, and Havoc – where he skillfully infuses his Caribbean roots into an unforgettable fusion of beats.

 

In August of 2019, driven by a desire to create more opportunities for aspiring artists and to share his passion for music with the world, DJ BluFiya founded 1st Generation Entertainment. The company's motto, "Bringing Different Sounds to New Ears," perfectly reflects BluFiya's vision of introducing audiences to unique and diverse musical experiences.

 

While he has not yet performed on international stages, DJ BluFiya aspires to share his melodies with the world one day. Locally, you can find him enthralling audiences at Negril BK, Rogers Garden, Kimoto Rooftop, or events curated by Good Company Bike Co. Wherever he performs, he consistently captivates and unites people through the universal language of music.
